Jack's Back! Two Years Old : )

I met Jack when he was just an infant, and shot him several times throughout his first year. He accompanied Mom to my studio open house, and I was so happy to see him again! We scheduled a studio mini-session and Jack was just as adorable as ever with his plump cheeks and lips, and those happy brown eyes.

Mom stepped in for a few shots at the end... as you can see, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

Jack's Back! 9-month portraits.

It seems like just yesterday I was meeting little baby Jack for the first time, when in fact it's been 6 months! He is growing like a weed and getting more and more expressive with those big beautiful eyes of his.

I just love this age... they're so interactive and curious and can be such happy little people, but they can't quite run away from you yet, which makes for a much easier portrait session, hahah! They can crawl away, though-- don't think he didn't try! They're also so sweet and squishy for Mommy-hugs. In Jack's case, he also likes to put his chubby little hands all over Mommy's face and feel her kisses.

I couldn't give you Jack without including at least one so-sad face, because when you're this darling, even your sad faces are cute cute cute!

Baby Jack, 3 months

Jack and his parents invited me to their home for a mostly-baby-but-also-some-family kind of portrait session. I had no idea the utter wide-eyed cuteness I was in store for. He's got the deepest, most inquisitive eyes and sweet little rosy red lips! He spent a lot of time eating during our session, but that's okay... it's hard work being that cute and keeping your soft little baby belly nice and round. Once he'd had his fill, he even struck a little GQ pose for me with his hand up on top of his head!

A living doll, I tell you.
